What Does a Customer Service Representative Do?

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the voice of FAB, handling inbound customer inquiries, resolving service issues, and identifying opportunities to recommend suitable banking products and services. Your role is vital in ensuring customer satisfaction and upholding FAB’s reputation for quality service.

What Are the Key Responsibilities?

- Handle inbound calls, delivering accurate information about products and services
- Resolve customer complaints effectively within the authorized limits and escalate when necessary
- Update customer records and maintain accurate call logs
- Identify customer needs and recommend FAB products or services accordingly
- Achieve quality and performance targets, including customer satisfaction and call handling metrics
- Maintain confidentiality of all customer data and follow internal protocols
- Collaborate with teammates and management to meet department goals
- Remain flexible to work on-call, during shift rotations, or as needed based on call center demands
- Participate in special assignments or tasks as delegated by supervisors

What Skills Are Needed for a Customer Service Role at FAB?

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or bachelor’s degree
- 0–2 years of experience in a customer service or banking-related environment

Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
- Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred
- Familiarity with customer service software and systems
- Ability to handle high call volumes and multitask in a fast-paced setting
