What Does an SAP FICA Consultant Do at Deloitte?
As an SAP FICA Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-impact finance technology projects. From conducting business process workshops to mapping and configuring SAP solutions, your contributions will help shape robust, long-lasting systems for clients across industries.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Conduct workshops to analyze current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) business processes
- Map business requirements to SAP FICA modules and related finance components
- Configure SAP to match client-specific financial and operational needs
- Develop detailed Functional Specifications and configuration documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams to ensure quality delivery
- Support full lifecycle SAP implementations and rollouts
What Skills Are Required for This SAP FICA Role in Hyderabad?
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related fields
Experience:
- 3 to 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICA or related SAP finance modules
- Strong domain experience in GL, AR, AP, FSCM, PSCD, FSCD, Project Systems, and Asset Accounting
- Background in cost center, internal orders, and investment management
- Prior consulting experience or experience with Big 4 firms is preferred
Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP configuration and functional specifications
- Accounting knowledge is a must
- Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Excel macros, PowerBI, or other reporting tools is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with virtual global teams
- Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills
