We are hiring a highly experienced Senior Messaging & Collaboration Specialist to lead the administration, architecture, and optimization of enterprise collaboration platforms and Microsoft 365 workloads. What Does a Senior Messaging & Collaboration Specialist Do?
This role is responsible for managing enterprise collaboration tools, Microsoft 365 applications, and backend infrastructure while serving as a technical advisor for cross-functional projects. The ideal candidate will lead architectural design, ensure system availability, enforce compliance standards, and drive automation and modernization across platforms.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
SharePoint & Collaboration Management:
- Administer and maintain multiple SharePoint farms ensuring performance and security
- Manage OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online for seamless collaboration
- Handle Jira and Confluence configurations for team productivity
System Infrastructure & Architecture:
- Design and maintain system architecture for scalability and compliance
- Manage IIS servers and ensure optimal uptime and system performance
- Oversee SQL Server environments, database integrity, and security
Microsoft 365 & Power BI Administration:
- Manage Microsoft 365 workloads including Teams, Exchange Online, and OneDrive
- Administer Power BI server environments and manage data visualization projects
DevOps & Automation:
- Lead DevOps initiatives with Octopus Automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Automate deployment and infrastructure operations to increase efficiency
Governance, Risk & Compliance:
- Enforce IT and system security standards across platforms
- Maintain architecture documentation and ensure business continuity strategies
Technical Leadership & Vendor Management:
- Provide strategic input on system capabilities and evaluate new technologies
- Collaborate with business units to translate needs into technical specs
- Write RFPs, define evaluation criteria, and manage vendor communication
- Conduct market research to guide platform evolution and selection

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
Experience:
- 10+ years in system administration, collaboration tools, and infrastructure management
Technical Skills:
