What Does an Audit Analytics Associate Do?
As an Audit Analytics Associate, you’ll play a key role in integrating data analytics into the audit process. You\'ll work closely with financial audit teams and clients to analyze complex datasets, design insightful analytics, and contribute to delivering high-quality audit services.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Understand client business processes, controls, and datasets to execute planned analytics procedures
- Collaborate with financial audit teams to share findings from data analytics and provide value-added insights
- Use SQL, ACL, Power BI, or Tableau to develop, test, and deliver data-driven audit procedures
- Document analysis workflows, steps, and outcomes clearly for audit evidence
- Participate in data extraction from client systems using custom queries
- Communicate with audit team members and clients to ensure accurate and timely analytics delivery
- Continuously seek learning opportunities on audit methodology and advanced analytics
What Skills Are Required for an Audit Analytics Role in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Computing, Management Information Systems, or a related field
Experience:
- 1 to 2.5 years of hands-on experience with ACL and/or SQL
- Experience in large data extraction, manipulation, and visualization
- Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Prior exposure to audit processes and internal controls is a plus
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work with large, complex data sets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
- Team-oriented and able to work in fast-paced environments
