Azizi Developments is hiring a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Design 360 Studio at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to landmark luxury developments including Burj Azizi and Azizi Venice. You will play a key role in delivering comprehensive mechanical system designs for high-end residential and hospitality projects.

What Does a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Do?
- Lead the design of complex mechanical systems for premium real estate developments
- Manage HVAC, ventilation, fire protection, LPG systems, and water/drainage networks
- Coordinate BIM/CAD outputs with technical specialists and ensure alignment with authority requirements
- Oversee documentation, authority approvals, and internal design reviews
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Design complete mechanical systems including air conditioning, ventilation, drainage, LPG, and fire suppression
- Calculate building cooling loads using authority-approved software (e.g., HAP)
- Supervise CAD/BIM technical teams and ensure compliance with Azizi’s design standards
- Ensure mechanical designs meet Dubai authority regulations (DEWA, Trakhees, Civil Defense, etc.)
- Coordinate with submittal engineers to ensure timely and accurate submission of design documents
- Maintain documentation and records of mechanical system designs throughout the project lifecycle
- Work collaboratively with architectural, structural, and electrical design teams
What Skills Are Needed for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
Experience:
- 10 to 15 years of mechanical design experience, ideally within the UAE or Middle East
- Proven expertise in delivering luxury high-rise residential and hospitality projects
- Familiarity with Dubai authorities and regulatory submission processes
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in HAP for cooling load calculations
- Strong knowledge of duct and piping design, and mechanical equipment selection
- Skilled in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of BIM workflows is an advantage
- Experience with MEP coordination, submittals, and consultant collaboration
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
