Job Purpose
To source, recommend best travel options and make travel arrangements for the corporate clients which would include flights, hotels, transfers, meet and assist, visas, health information and any other travel related assistance
Job Responsibilities
Regularly monitor “queues” in the travel system to ensure all changes are updated and communicated to the client when necessary.
Ensure that the client has received the best option by providing quotations, fare comparisons and making reservations according to client’s preferred options.
Adhere to the client’s travel policy and maintain accuracy in issuing, reissuing and refunding of value documents to the client to ensure a positive customer experience for the client.
Create and maintain client profiles in the system to ensure efficient process flow.
Smart selling” to clients such as upselling of add-ons, capitalising on business deals with suppliers, negotiating spot deals/best possible fares, promoting incentive carriers, ensuring to add value to the client as well as ART.
• Provide an accurate reconciliation between mid and back office systems: Ensuring necessary approvals are obtained before issuance of cash value documents;
Reporting daily transactions on time through mid-office systems, ensuring daily sales are recorded for finance to generate the necessary reports.
Develop Business through existing client
Report cash/PO document daily.
Analyze clients’ performance against potential and report to supervisor/manager
Suggest economic annual travel budget to clients as per request
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Higher Secondary educated or equivalent
Experience
Minimum 2 years in airline ticketing
Knowledge & Skills
Travel industry knowledge
Previous experience of working with travel systems
Good relationship building skills
Works well under pressure Ability to work with deadlines
Ability to multitask
