We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee design and construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with budgetary constraints. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and technical expertise to manage contractors, consultants, and stakeholders while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage contractors in coordination with consultants to ensure project completion within the agreed time, scope, and quality parameters
- Report project status to the Head of Construction, providing regular updates on progress and challenges
- Liaise with authorities to secure necessary approvals (NOCs) and facilitate project handover
- Oversee and control project budget, scope of work, and project timelines
- Ensure proper civil layout and engineering for project installations
- Supervise construction, operations, and maintenance activities on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards
- Implement a quality assurance (QA) plan to guarantee compliance with contract plans and regulations
- Ensure that all materials and equipment installed by the contractor meet project specifications and contract requirements
- Lead and attend project-related meetings, representing the company’s interests effectively
- Monitor and enforce safety compliance according to international and local regulations
- Review and evaluate contractor/client variation claims, monthly payments, and project correspondence
- Prepare technical reports, record drawings, and maintain project documentation
- Manage daily site operations, including supervision, team performance monitoring, and efficiency optimization
- Plan and organize construction site facilities to meet project deadlines effectively
- Resolve technical issues by coordinating with employers, suppliers, contractors, and statutory authorities
- Ensure purchasing processes meet project requirements in coordination with the procurement department
- Manage project variations, site instructions, and related data
- Execute any additional responsibilities assigned by superiors

Job Requirements:

- MSc or BSc Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Chartered Architect qualification preferred
- Minimum 15 years of experience in construction project management
- Proven expertise in handling large-scale projects from inception to completion
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and project budgeting
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with authorities and stakeholders
- Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills
