Join Al Ghurair, a leading name in innovation and excellence, as we seek a dedicated HSE Engineer to strengthen our Facilities Management team. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations while implementing proactive measures to protect people, property, and operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Establish measures to prevent fire hazards and minimize risks to life, property, and business operations
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defence regulations related to health, safety, and environment (HSE)
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for potential incidents such as fires, hazardous material spills, and power failures
- Communicate safety policies and establish work rules to promote safe work practices and awareness
- Evaluate workplace materials, equipment, and processes to mitigate hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain an inventory of chemicals used within the premises and ensure proper handling, usage, and disposal
- Organize and conduct regular HSE training programs for employees and stakeholders
- Develop, maintain, and update HSE documentation, reports, and compliance records
Job Requirements:
- Engineering degree or diploma with additional HSE certifications such as OSH, NEBOSH, or IGC
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an HSE role, with substantial UAE experience
- Previous experience in HSE roles within hotels, malls, or residential and commercial properties preferred
- Additional technical qualifications in electrical or HVAC (air conditioning) are an advantage
- Valid UAE driving license required
