Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and Dubai’s government digital transformation initiatives.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure, applications, and services to ensure seamless operations.
- Lead the identification, evaluation, and adoption of emerging technologies to drive innovation and operational efficiency.
- Manage IT governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Direct the planning and execution of cybersecurity strategies to protect sensitive data and systems from threats.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver tailored IT solutions that enhance performance.
- Oversee the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and optimal resource utilization.
- Build and nurture a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and technology partners to support IT initiatives and ensure high service levels.
- Drive digital transformation projects, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder satisfaction, and measurable outcomes.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree in IT Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline (preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior management capacity.
- Proven expertise in IT strategy development, infrastructure management, and digital transformation within large organizations.
- Experience working within government entities or public sector organizations in the UAE is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in IT governance, cybersecurity, and risk management.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and blockchain is a plus.
