Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing, tendering, contracting, and material handling processes
- Ensure efficient supply chain, inventory management, and warehouse operations
- Develop and implement procurement management policies, instructions, and procedures
- Analyze market trends and delivery systems to maintain material availability
- Negotiate major purchases and supplier contracts to optimize pricing, quality, and delivery
- Oversee the preparation, review, and execution of tenders and contracts
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain validated supplier databases
- Drive process improvements in procurement operations for operational and maintenance categories
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs and align supply chain strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation for procurement transactions and audit requirements
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or Accounting
Experience:
- Extensive experience in procurement, tender evaluation, supply chain, and material management
- Proven leadership experience managing procurement teams
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- High-level project management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple procurement projects concurrently
