Job Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst will perform feasibility studies, revenue forecasting, financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, and legislative reviews to ensure RTA’s financial sustainability. The role involves providing strategic insights, supporting high-level financial decisions, and engaging with internal departments and external government entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor team members, conduct workshops, and support knowledge development
- Update and implement business policies and accounting practices aligned with RTA objectives
- Study industry insights and create financial models to support new business initiatives
- Assist the section manager with planning, controlling, and coordinating departmental activities
- Conduct financial feasibility studies and recommend revenue generation strategies
- Prepare, update, and review financial models with qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Plan and review capital investment opportunities aligned with RTA’s goals
- Review agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to formulate financial terms
- Perform ad-hoc financial modeling and sensitivity analyses
- Conduct valuations of operating entities and service lines within RTA
- Undertake benchmarking studies and report key performance indicators
- Analyze new legislations to ensure alignment with strategic financial goals
- Review and assess monthly financial performance against planned forecasts
- Liaise with the Department of Finance – Government of Dubai for approvals on financial studies, fees, and services
- Assist in building project finance models, scenario planning, and financial documentations
- Support strategic financial initiatives to drive revenue growth and cost optimization
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Accounting from a recognized university
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance and Accounting functions
