Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for nursing services, ensuring alignment with hospital objectives and quality standards
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient care, safety, and nursing efficiency
- Lead and mentor nursing teams to uphold best practices and ensure continuous professional development
- Monitor and evaluate patient care delivery, implementing performance improvement initiatives where necessary
- Collaborate with medical staff, administration, and other departments to ensure integrated healthcare services
- Oversee nursing budgets, resource allocation, and operational efficiencies to optimize patient outcomes
- Drive adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards, ensuring compliance with UAE healthcare laws
- Implement and manage patient safety initiatives, risk management strategies, and infection control protocols
- Utilize data analytics to assess clinical performance and drive evidence-based decision-making
- Foster a patient-centric culture by ensuring excellent communication and patient engagement strategies
- Participate in hospital-wide performance improvement activities and quality assurance programs
- Lead recruitment, retention, and succession planning efforts for the nursing department
- Act as a key liaison between nursing staff, hospital leadership, and external stakeholders
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred
- Current RN license or eligibility for licensure in the UAE
- Minimum of 10 years of nursing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and best nursing practices
- Experience in financial and resource management within a hospital setting
- Proficiency in healthcare management systems such as Cerner, Oracle, and MS Office
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage teams and stakeholders
- Ability to manage change, drive innovation, and enhance nursing services for improved patient outcomes
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach
