Staff Nurse - Dermatology Job Vacancy in UAE Dubai

Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of dermatology procedures, including wound dressing, suture removal, blood extraction, and PRP centrifuge
- Assist in advanced skin treatments such as micro-needling radiofrequency, fractional laser, broadband light therapy, Erbium YAG laser, and vascular laser procedures
- Support dermatologists in skin excisions, biopsies, incision and drainage procedures, cryotherapy, and mole mapping
- Administer ultraviolet therapy, iontophoresis treatment, and patch tests for allergy testing
- Provide post-procedural care and instructions to ensure patient safety and recovery
- Perform removal of skin staples and clips within the scope of nursing practice
- Assist in negative pressure wound therapy and breast expansion procedures following breast reconstruction
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures following hospital protocols
- Ensure adherence to infection control practices and safety guidelines in dermatology procedures
- Educate patients about skincare, treatment plans, and post-procedure care
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (minimum three-year program) or a recognized nursing qualification from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, or Australia
- UAE nationals are exempt from experience and clinical training requirements, while non-UAE nationals from UAE universities must complete six months of clinical training
- Valid nursing license/registration from home country or last employment country (if applicable)
- Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in dermatology or plastic surgery settings
- Proficiency in dermatological treatments and procedures
- Strong assessment and patient care planning skills, with the ability to prioritize patient needs
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced certifications are an advantage
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Attention to detail and adherence to clinical safety protocols
