What Does a Key Account Manager Do in Hospitality?
As a Key Account Manager in Dubai, you will be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth across assigned leisure segment accounts. You will work closely with hotel teams, global travel partners, and distribution platforms to secure high-value leisure business and shape long-term commercial strategies.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Lead strategic management of assigned key accounts to generate revenue and foster long-term loyalty
- Develop and implement customized account plans and sales strategies
- Support hotel teams in developing leisure distribution strategies and tactical campaigns
- Collaborate with hotels to drive bookings during need periods and high-demand windows
- Maintain and grow relationships with global travel partners and key stakeholders
- Represent Accor at trade shows, sales events, and industry engagements
- Transition leisure business from static to dynamic models using modern platforms like Infinite
- Analyze account performance, generate reports, and forecast leisure segment trends
- Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to drive smart commercial decisions
What Skills Are Needed for a Key Account Manager in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Business Management, Tourism, or Hotel Management
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably in the leisure segment
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, sales strategies, and distribution platforms
Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and CVENT
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to change
- Knowledge of leisure travel distribution models and connectivity platforms
