DP World UAE is hiring a Public Relations Manager to lead PR strategies, media relations, and communication initiatives across the organization. Based in Dubai, this role will strengthen the company’s reputation through digital and offline engagement, develop press content, and oversee crisis communication protocols in coordination with senior leadership and agencies.

What Does a Public Relations Manager Do?
- Design and execute strategic public relations plans to position DP World as a global trade and logistics leader
- Manage external media agencies and handle incoming press requests
- Create high-impact content including press releases, speeches, event summaries, and stakeholder communications
- Strengthen the company’s voice through consistent messaging across digital and print media
- Coordinate all PR content related to trade shows, conferences, and global events
- Support promotional initiatives and internal awareness campaigns
- Lead and manage public surveys to assess sentiment for both internal and external communication purposes
- Act as a key contributor to DP World’s crisis communications preparedness and response
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Manage daily PR operations and editorial planning across all media channels
- Maintain strong relationships with journalists, news outlets, and regional media partners
- Lead PR response planning, including special training in crisis communication protocols
- Deliver content aligned with DP World’s strategic goals, events, and milestones
- Analyze public opinion and engagement metrics to refine PR effectiveness
- Collaborate with digital teams to ensure social media alignment with PR messaging
What Skills Are Needed for a PR Manager in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in PR, with a proven record managing press and media relations
- Hands-on experience executing large-scale PR campaigns and brand messaging initiatives
Technical Skills:
- Copywriting and editing experience across formats (press, speeches, digital)
- Familiarity with social platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
- Working knowledge of MS Office and multimedia editing tools is a plus
Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for agency and media engagement
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and large-scale events
- Strategic thinker with high adaptability and resilience in high-pressure scenarios
