Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Citrix environments, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix Cloud
- Manage and configure Netscaler for secure application delivery and load balancing
- Implement and maintain VMware virtualization solutions
- Utilize ControlUp for real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Configure and support Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments
- Conduct system performance analysis and fine-tune configurations for optimal performance
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to Citrix, VDI, and virtualization infrastructure
- Ensure high availability, security, and data integrity across the virtual environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including infrastructure design and configurations
- Provide end-user support and training as needed
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in virtualization and cloud technologies
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Citrix Engineer, with strong expertise in Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, and Netscaler
- Proficiency in VMware virtualization solutions and VDI environments
- Strong knowledge of ControlUp for performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- Experience with Citrix Cloud solutions and cloud integration
- Familiarity with Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security, and load balancing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Citrix certification (e.g., CCA-V, CCP-V) is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
