What Does a Senior Change Manager Do in AI Strategy?
As Senior Change Manager in Al-Futtaim’s Group AI Office, you’ll be the driving force behind successful implementation of AI across departments. You’ll lead strategy, planning, and communication to ensure employees embrace and effectively use AI tools and processes. This role is critical in transforming how Al-Futtaim leverages artificial intelligence to improve operations, decision-making, and customer outcomes.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Translate the Group’s AI vision into a robust enterprise change strategy
- Develop tailored change management frameworks for adoption of AI tools and processes
- Conduct change readiness assessments and stakeholder analysis
- Manage AI-related communications via email, intranet, Viva Engage, and MS Teams
- Secure stakeholder buy-in across business divisions and corporate functions
- Create engagement strategies to encourage employee adoption of AI in day-to-day work
- Measure effectiveness of change communication and adoption rates through KPIs
- Prepare reports and updates for AI governance meetings and leadership reviews
- Identify and mitigate resistance or risks to AI-related changes
- Support AI project teams in aligning communication, training, and support resources
What Skills Are Needed for a Senior Change Role in the Gulf?
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in change management, ideally in tech-driven transformations
- Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, CCMP)
- Proven ability to manage enterprise change in large-scale organizations
Core Competencies:
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Expertise in Agile and transformation methodologies
- Knowledge of employee engagement strategies and change adoption metrics
- High emotional intelligence and leadership presence
- Ability to work cross-functionally with senior leadership
