What Does a Senior Consultant in Sustainable Finance Do?
This role centers around designing quantitative methodologies and models for sustainability and climate-related risk analysis in the financial sector. You’ll work alongside multidisciplinary experts and support clients with regulatory compliance, stress testing, scenario modeling, and ESG risk integration.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Develop quantitative models for climate stress testing, ESG scenario analysis, and regulatory alignment
- Collaborate on a range of cross-functional projects, including financial risk, programming, and sustainability regulation
- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle—from client engagement and proposal development to solution delivery

What Skills Are Required for This Role in Hamburg?
Education:
- Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or related fields with a strong quantitative focus (e.g., statistics, numerical methods, programming)
Experience:
- Prior experience in quantitative modeling in the finance industry (e.g., derivative pricing, risk management, accounting)
- Several years of professional experience as a specialist or generalist with knowledge across multiple risk domains
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk methodologies related to sustainability
Skills:
