What Does a (Senior) SAP Consultant in Banking Do?
As a (Senior) SAP Consultant in the Banking team, you’ll guide clients in the planning and implementation of complex SAP transformations. You’ll play a vital role in optimizing business processes and implementing innovative SAP solutions across areas such as SAP S/4HANA, FPSL, FSDM, and PAPM.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Analyze client business requirements and develop tailored SAP solutions in banking, IT architecture, and reporting
- Support clients end-to-end, from requirements analysis through design and implementation to go-live of industry-specific applications
- Contribute to client workshops, presentation development, and decision-making documentation
- Continuously expand SAP expertise and assist in developing proposals and client-specific offerings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including international stakeholders, to co-develop SAP solutions
What Skills Are Needed for a (Senior) SAP Consultant in Hamburg?
Education:
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Experience:
- 2 to 5 years of SAP consulting experience or a similar client-facing advisory role
- Prior experience with SAP modules relevant to the banking sector, treasury, or capital markets is preferred
Skills:
- Strong understanding of business value chains and banking industry processes (including asset management and FinTech)
- Passion for solving complex problems, strong team spirit, and excellent presentation skills
- Willingness to travel within Germany and fluency in both German and English
