Audit Manager (Logistics, Freezones or Ports)

Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare comprehensive audit programs for audit assignments, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Contribute to the development of industry strategy and operational plans in line with the Head of Sector\'s guidance.
- Lead and oversee audits to assess the alignment of targeted auditees\' services with strategic plans and Dubai Government priorities.
- Present audit reports, highlighting key findings and potential short- and long-term risks.
- Manage follow-up, monitoring, and reporting on corrective actions in close collaboration with relevant departments.
- Establish strategic business partnerships and manage stakeholder relationships to optimize engagement outcomes.
- Resolve audit issues and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams for detailed analysis.
- Lead industry-related research, thought leadership, and market insights generation.
- Evaluate the impact of regulatory and standards changes on the overall audit plan.
- Ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations, proposing ways to maintain compliance.
- Provide guidance and coaching to audit team members to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Continuously develop expertise in the sector to undertake more complex audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIA, CA) preferred.
- Proven experience in audit management within the logistics, freezone, or ports sector.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Deep understanding of compliance, risk management, and performance audit frameworks.
