ROLE SUMMARY
The Associate Manager - Information Technology is responsible for ensuring IT services are implemented in all stores across Majid Al Futtaim Retail operating countries according to the company's IT policies and governance standards to ensure the stability of information technology systems. The role holder is also responsible for acting as an IT focal point for the expansion of countries/stores and for analysing business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organisation.
ROLE PROFILE
Analyse business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs.
Liaise IT new projects deployment and implementation between the system owners and countries team.
Propose, implement, and follow up on IT action plans to increase the operations' productivity, performance, and effectiveness.
Ensure the IT infrastructure and systems are deployed adequately during the new store opening.
Participate in the annual review of the central agreement and quotations and ensure it complies with the business needs and budgetary plan.
Support on performing regular audit of various processes and databases for the IT function in order to identify gaps and risks, and propose corrective actions.
Collaborate with MAF Retail key stakeholders, to provide them with regular updates through having an agreed communication plan that is conducive for the full duration of the project(s) to deliver on the business objectives.
Ensure the company IT standards, procedures, and policies are well deployed and followed in the stores by regularly visiting and performing the store's IT audits.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or relevant field.
5+ years of experience in IT Operations/ Governance and preferably 2+ years in retail.
Experience with cloud services: Azure AD, Intune, Office 365.
Proficiency in supplier and service desk management.
Experience in information technology operations and infrastructure management.
Highly organized with strong multitasking skills.
