Job Summary:
NOV is one of the world's largest supplier of products and solutions to the oil and gas industry. MD Totco is a business group within the Wellbore Technologies segment, and with our Downhole Broadband Solutions (DBS) offerings we are focusing on drilling automation & optimization by use of downhole data.The MD Totco DBS services relies on a four-phase optimization approach to enhance drilling performance throughout a project's life cycle. The process begins with a critical review of key performance indicators and drilling data that helps us understand how to improve drilling system performance. After analyzing the data to identify risk and opportunity, our experts build a strategy to deliver on the client's performance objectives. Due to increasing demand for our offerings we need additional personnel in our operations group to deliver intelligent, smarter and more cost-efficient solutions to our customers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
NOV's Project Manager for DBS / Wired Drill Pipe projects
Single point of contact towards clients and projects, responsible for all deliverables, both technically on day-to-day basis and commercially, including contract negotiations and follow up.
The PM might be required to sit in client's offices on a daily basis.
Manage offshore operations including personnel and equipment.
Coordinate with support functions onshore.
Act as bridging link between operations, sales and support functions onshore.
Assist sales and business development with new and existing opportunities and presentations of technical papers.
Inform and advice in strategic decision-making processes.
Responsible for QHSE at assigned projects.
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
10+ years of O&G experience required.
Previous administrative experience preferred.
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
High quality organizational skills.
The ability to work well under deadlines and to multitask.
The ability to build relationships and coalitions within the community.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:
Degree in Engineering or Petroleum related studies.
10+ years of work experience in a drilling and well environment.
Relevant offshore-, sales-, project-, and client management experience is required Skills, Training, special knowledge, and/or Language skills Excellent verbal and written communication skill
