ROLE SUMMARY
The role of the Inventory Control Supervisor is to ensure the inventory database is accurately maintained and stock takes are completed according to the established policy. The role will be responsible for the inventory management of products and other consumables for a single or multiple Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment sites including warehousing, inventory control and distribution.
ROLE PROFILE
Ensure optimization of inventory while implementing cost control measures in line with agreed standards, ensuring no disruption to operations and customer experience.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels by processing purchase orders, tracking orders, and investigating any issues. This includes receiving, unpacking, and re-stocking items as necessary, and ensuring proper labeling of shelves.
Adhere to food safety and health and safety standards as well as local legislation related to the receiving and storage of items. Ensure storerooms follow guidelines on receiving items, cleanliness, sanitation, and proper storage.
Validate all inventory processes ensuring alignment with the Inventory Control department.
Oversee the proper implementation of all related policies and procedures and perform quality control on data.
Manage inventory and stock management systems to ensure they are maintained accurately and timely within agreed parameters.
Oversee Point of Sales and ordering systems ensuring correct buying and receiving protocols are followed.
To oversee the cinema site's inventory to ensure seamless and reliable operations.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum high school certificate.
At least 1 year of inventory control experience with Majid Al Futtaim Entertainment, or a minimum of 2 years of inventory control experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
Strong written and oral English communication skills.
Strong work ethic with the ability to prioritize, organize and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of working on Vista and MC.
Computer literacy and expertise in MS Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
