Underwriting Technicians are responsible for developing strong relationships with our brokers, underwriters, and operations partners. This is the perfect role for a skilled professional who is part leader, part innovator, and part client manager. Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
Provide effective and efficient service to brokers, clients, underwriting, claims and credit control/accounting
Q&A and training of Global Business Operations offshore ATs
Act as a point of contact for underwriters and support timely and accurate delivery of quotes, policy documentation endorsements, etc.
Support continuous process improvement and automation initiatives
What You'll Bring to the Role
3+ years of experience with Property & Casualty Insurance and/or Specialty Insurance;
Experience in policy administration or other core insurance services, with an advanced understanding of the policy administration life cycle (e.g., information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control, and cancellation);
Account management experience;
Ability to build and foster relationships across the organization and with our brokers/clients;
Excellent knowledge Microsoft Office applications and experience with relevant business applications and systems;
Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
Strong time management and prioritization skills; and
Effective team player
