As a **Director - Master Development (Urban Design)** at Dubai Holding Real Estate, you will oversee master planning, architectural design, and urban development for large-scale mixed-use residential and commercial projects. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, drive innovative design solutions, and ensure compliance with regulatory and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide urban design leadership throughout the entire master planning lifecycle, from vision development to authority approvals
- Oversee architectural design, ensuring projects meet functional, aesthetic, and market requirements
- Lead multidisciplinary design consultants (Structural, MEP, Façade, VT, Landscape, etc.) to ensure project alignment with strategic goals
- Ensure master plan compliance with KPIs, target efficiencies, and optimal land use distribution
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including company verticals, consultants, and authorities, to define project goals and design constraints
- Manage project development from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within cost and schedule parameters
- Drive sustainability initiatives, setting policies and guidelines to ensure compliance across developments
- Support sales, leasing, and legal teams in structuring agreements and commercial strategies
- Provide data and cost inputs for feasibility assessments and financial planning
- Ensure regulatory compliance with local authority requirements for master plan submissions
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Real Estate, Land Economics, Architecture, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 12 years of experience in managing large-scale real estate developments (residential, commercial, retail, hospitality)
- Strong architectural design skills with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Exceptional conceptual and design thinking abilities, demonstrated through a portfolio of successful projects
- Deep understanding of sustainability principles and their application in master planning and urban design
- Strong familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with diverse teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
