Security System Engineer - ELV

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation team in executing ELV projects at customer sites, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Organize site facilities, supervise the workforce, and manage day-to-day site operations to meet project deadlines.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, planners, QS, consultants, authorities, and other departments for integrated project execution.
- Review project documentation, including drawings, submittals, method statements, and inspection documents, ensuring accurate archiving of project data.
- Validate design plans, drawings, and calculations for accuracy and compatibility during construction.
- Guide designers and draftsmen in preparing shop drawings, installation plans, wiring diagrams, and cable schedules.
- Act as a technical advisor, providing guidance to the installation and commissioning team, resolving technical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and project quality, safety, and health standards.
- Manage inventory and coordinate material delivery to the site, maintaining orderly records of issued and remaining materials.
- Participate actively in testing and commissioning activities to ensure project deliverables meet design requirements.
- Identify project variations or new requirements and coordinate with the sales/presales team for proposal submissions.
- Report site progress, challenges, and project status to the line manager for guidance and assistance.
- Assist in estimating, preparing, and submitting project claims.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Communication, Electricals, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in ELV project implementation, including structured cabling, ICT, Security, AV, and system integration.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, and construction activities within ELV systems.
- Security system certifications, SIRA certification, and Hanwha Techwin CCTV & ACS configuration knowledge.
- In-depth knowledge of ICT/ELV/AV industry standards, practices, codes, and regulations.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- UAE Driving License is required.
