Source to Pay Associate Accountant – Accounts Payable & Vendor Management
Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions is hiring a Source to Pay Associate Accountant to support its Finance operations in Cairo, Egypt. This role is responsible for managing accounts payable functions, processing transactions, and maintaining vendor accounts in alignment with internal policies and service level agreements.

What Does a Source to Pay Associate Accountant Do?
The Associate Accountant ensures timely and accurate processing of vendor payments, supports general ledger activities, and handles supplier queries to maintain effective payables management. The role plays a critical part in upholding financial compliance, ensuring data integrity, and supporting financial operations across Majid Al Futtaim’s business units.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Process invoice booking, goods receipt notes (GRN), and supplier payments in compliance with company policies
- Review and verify payment requests from departments and ensure completeness and accuracy
- Reconcile vendor accounts and follow up on outstanding balances
- Handle staff travel and expense reimbursements according to company procedures
- Monitor aging reports and resolve vendor issues in coordination with the Process Lead
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate vendor records within internal systems
- Assist in month-end closing tasks and reporting requirements
- Manage supplier queries and escalate unresolved issues as needed
What Skills Are Needed for an Accounts Payable Role in Cairo?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (mandatory)
Experience:
- Minimum 6 months of relevant finance or accounts payable experience
- Exposure to invoice processing and vendor reconciliation is preferred
Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high attention to detail
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service orientation
- Knowledge of ERP systems or finance platforms is a plus
