What Does a Total Rewards Senior Specialist Do?
The Total Rewards Senior Specialist plays a critical role in managing compensation frameworks, benefits programs, salary benchmarking, and job evaluations. The role supports decision-making by providing insights on pay equity, market trends, and regulatory compliance.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Conduct job evaluations and job mapping using Korn Ferry methodology
- Run annual C&B cycles, including merit increase and bonus administration
- Support HR business partners with rewards processes in their operating companies
- Analyze internal pay structures for equity and effectiveness
- Run cost-benefit and competitiveness analyses across compensation schemes
- Participate in and analyze results of salary surveys (e.g., Korn Ferry, Mercer, Towers Watson)
- Ensure compliance with labor laws in all Majid Al Futtaim operating countries
- Provide analytical insights and reports to support Total Rewards decision-making
What Skills Are Needed for a Compensation and Benefits Role in Cairo?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a numerate or business-related discipline
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in Total Rewards, Compensation, or HR operations
- Experience with salary surveys and benchmarking tools
- Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors or similar platforms
Skills:
- Proficiency in Total Rewards analytics, reporting, and data handling
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Knowledge of regional labor laws and reward trends
- Familiarity with Korn Ferry grading and job evaluation methodology
