Are you an experienced supply chain leader ready to take on a strategic role with one of the most recognized retail brands? Al-Futtaim Retail is seeking a dynamic General Manager for Supply Chain Management to oversee the end-to-end supply chain for Marks & Spencer in the MENA region, based in Hong Kong. This is a high-impact leadership role that focuses on operational optimization, digital transformation, and strategic partnerships to drive efficiency, speed to market, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Performance Management:
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring operational excellence and cost efficiency.
- Manage inbound logistics from origin to destination, including Non-Vessel Owning Carriers (NVOCs) and other transport providers.
- Supervise outbound logistics for retail stores and e-commerce platforms, optimizing third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships.
- Ensure regulatory compliance for product registration, marketing execution, and maintain an updated compliance database.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Manage central contract tracking, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct internal audits to uphold governance standards and financial efficiency.
- Develop strategic logistics partnerships while ensuring contractual compliance.
Operations Excellence:
- Align supply chain strategies with business objectives and growth plans.
- Enhance digital capabilities, including DC fulfillment, last-mile logistics, and reverse flow management.
- Prioritize legal compliance and commercial viability for trade operations in new and existing markets.
Strategic Partnership Development:
- Collaborate on strategic roadmaps and execution plans to strengthen supply chain capabilities.
- Engage with key partners for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Establish performance management frameworks for supply chain contracts and execute tendering processes as required.
Leadership & Talent Development:
- Benchmark KPIs with HR to enhance productivity and accountability.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and set challenging yet achievable targets for the team.
- Implement succession planning for critical roles to ensure business continuity.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Degree or professional degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of international retail supply chain management experience, with a career span of 15-20 years.
- Proven success in leading supply chain transformations in MENA and Asia.
- Experience in business case development, strategic partner selection, and organizational change management.
- Strong familiarity with supply chain operations across Asia and MENA.
- Expertise in e-commerce and omnichannel logistics.
- Willingness to travel internationally and work flexible hours as required.
