Majid Al Futtaim Retail is hiring a Quality Officer to oversee key quality control functions for Private Label products and customer satisfaction at the UAE Head Office. This role is vital in coordinating lab testing, product audits, complaint handling, and regulatory compliance in line with Carrefour’s quality policies.

What Does a Quality Officer Do?
The Quality Officer supports the development and monitoring of product quality, handles customer complaints and product recalls, and ensures all Private Label products meet Carrefour standards and local regulations. The role also maintains communication with internal teams, authorities, and international quality partners to facilitate effective compliance.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Follow up on product quality assurance processes including lab testing, audits, and customer feedback
- Assist in reviewing and updating Private Label technical documentation for compliance with Carrefour and local standards
- Liaise with in-store quality teams and government authorities to uphold the brand’s professional image
- Communicate with quality service providers to manage audit results and laboratory non-conformities
- Prepare scheduled reports related to quality operations and activities
- Support logistics teams with CRF product registrations as per local authority requirements
- Investigate customer complaints and manage product recall communications with stores and warehouses
- Coordinate with Private Label teams and CRF France on non-compliance cases and track corrective action plans
What Skills Are Needed for a Quality Assurance Role in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related discipline
Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in a quality assurance or regulatory compliance role, ideally within retail or FMCG
Skills:
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Effective negotiation and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and report preparation
- Understanding of lab testing, quality audit procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to manage complaint investigation and follow-up processes across teams
