What Does a Sales Assistant Do?
As a Sales Assistant at Al-Futtaim, you’ll play a key role in driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting retail operations in the Market Hall area. From maintaining a visually appealing environment to assisting customers with inquiries, your contribution will shape the in-store experience.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Create a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment that reflects the brand’s high standards
- Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and product knowledge
- Achieve or exceed weekly sales targets through excellent customer service
- Support inventory counts, restocking, and sales floor maintenance
- Attend regular store meetings and participate in team functions
- Collaborate with peers and management to achieve operational goals
- Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and appearance standards
- Provide updated product and promotional information to shoppers
- Represent the company with positivity and professionalism at all times
What Skills Are Required for a Sales Role in the Gulf?
Education & Experience:
- Experience in customer service or retail sales is highly desirable
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Good spoken and written English; other languages are a bonus
