The role plays a crucial part in shaping and guiding the technological infrastructure and strategy of the organization. They are responsible for aligning technology solutions with business goals and objectives, ensuring that systems and processes are efficient, scalable, and secure. The Enterprise Architect collaborates with various stakeholders, including senior management, IT teams, and business units, to develop and implement innovative solutions that drive business growth and competitiveness.

Responsibilities
Baselining ASIS: Assists in setting and establishing architectural baselines, Data Capturing and capabilities required for the Operational EA Function.
EA Function Rollout: Assists in the overall EA function rollout and operational activities.
Strategic Planning: Assist in developing and maintaining the enterprise architecture strategy aligned with the organization\'s business objectives.
Technology Roadmap: Assist in Defining and communicating a clear technology roadmap that outlines the evolution of the enterprise architecture over time, across the defined Architecture landscape.
Solution Design: Assist and offer guidance in design and implementation of enterprise-wide technology solutions, ensuring consistency, compatibility, scalability, and security in line with the developed EA Capabilities.
Standards and Best Practices: Assist in Establishing and enforcing architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices across the organization.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the enterprise architecture operations and suggest, drive mitigation strategies.
Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to continue evolving EA standards and align them to EA objects through efficient planning, requirements gathering and solutions.
Governance: Provide oversight and governance for projects and initiatives to ensure compliance with architectural standards and policies.
Vendor Management: Participate, evaluate, and select technology vendors and partners, and manage vendor relationships to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture goals.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to IT teams, promoting innovation and excellence in architecture and design.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and drive continuous improvement of the enterprise architecture.
Capability Framework: Participate, Promote, drive, and operate the EA Capability framework and help evolve over time.
Cloud & AI Capabilities: Helping evolve and drive the cloud strategy and participate in cloud and AI driven initiatives in line with the EA directives.
