We are seeking an experienced Lighting Design Engineer to create unique and visually impactful lighting designs for façades, interiors, and landscapes. This role requires close collaboration with MEP teams, architects, and interior designers to develop innovative lighting solutions that enhance aesthetics and functionality. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, a deep understanding of lighting design principles, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and unique lighting designs for façades, interiors, and landscapes
- Work closely with MEP teams, architects, interior designers, and landscape architects to integrate lighting solutions into project designs
- Assist electrical engineers and CAD technicians in developing detailed lighting design packages
- Create and present concept designs, luminaire specifications, control schedules, calculations, BOQs, layouts, and detailed drawings
- Ensure compliance with lighting industry standards, including CIBSE/SLL and other relevant regulations
- Stay updated on the latest lighting trends, technologies, and sustainable lighting solutions
- Provide technical reviews and on-site inspections to ensure high-quality implementation
- Organize and conduct technical workshops with suppliers to stay aligned with innovative product trends
- Develop visually appealing lighting design documents, reports, and presentations for clients and stakeholders
- Contribute to team growth by sharing expertise, attending conferences, and participating in learning sessions with manufacturers and suppliers
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in lighting design, preferably with a lighting consultant or supplier focused on design rather than sales
- Strong understanding of the complete lighting design process, from concept to execution
- Ability to effectively communicate design ideas both verbally and visually
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Dialux Evo, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Revit & BIM, Lumion, SketchUp, 3DMax, MS Office, and InDesign
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and interior designers
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to work independently and conduct on-site reviews
- Knowledge of installation processes and industry best practices for lighting implementation
