What Does a Food and Beverage Supervisor Do?
As a Food and Beverage Supervisor at Accor Dubai, you will support the Outlet Manager in running daily F&B operations across outlets. Your role will be essential in ensuring service excellence, team coordination, inventory control, and guest satisfaction.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Assist Outlet Manager in overseeing operations and service quality across all outlets
- Supervise team members, delegate tasks, and assess performance regularly
- Ensure adherence to F&B operating standards as outlined in SOPs
- Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and training for team members
- Manage operating supplies, equipment requisitioning, and inventory control
- Oversee daily operations and guest interactions during peak hours
- Handle guest complaints and requests efficiently with a solutions-first mindset
- Liaise with the kitchen and beverage departments to maintain service consistency
- Help plan festive promotions and coordinate with marketing as needed
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and appearance standards across the department
- Lead rostering and scheduling to ensure optimal team coverage
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations for staff
- Uphold hotel policies and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
- Attend required meetings and contribute insights to improve operations
What Skills Are Needed for a Food and Beverage Supervisor in Dubai?
Education and Experience:
- Degree or diploma in hospitality or hotel management
- Previous experience in Food and Beverage supervision, preferably in luxury hotels
Skills:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages are an advantage
- Proficiency in POS systems (preferably Micros), MS Office, and Windows
- Good understanding of beverage service and restaurant operations
- Problem-solving mindset and guest service orientation
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and staff training best practices
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
