What Does a Waiter or Waitress Do in a Hotel?
As a Waiter or Waitress in Dubai, you will play a key role in providing warm, efficient, and attentive service in the hotel’s restaurant, lounge, or café. You’ll ensure guest satisfaction while upholding the highest service standards.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Greet guests, present menus, and offer recommendations
- Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Handle billing and payments with attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness and order of the dining area
- Liaise with kitchen staff to ensure food quality and timely service
- Build rapport with guests to encourage repeat visits
- Support teammates in daily operations
What Skills Are Needed for a Waiter or Waitress in Dubai?
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience in a food and beverage role is preferred
- Hospitality certifications or basic service training is an advantage
