Job Requirements:

- MS or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Statistics
- 10+ years of experience in statistical modeling and data science roles
- Expertise in Python, R, SQL, and proficiency with Data Frames and complex SQL queries
- Domain knowledge in metals, mining, energy, or related industries, with the ability to align data science initiatives with business objectives
- Strong mathematical, statistical, and applied research skills with experience in AI and machine learning
- Hands-on experience solving clustering, classification, regression, anomaly detection, and optimization problems
- Proficiency in merging and transforming large-scale data sets to generate new insights
- Experience using BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, R Shiny, Plotly, and ggplot
- Programming experience in additional languages like Java, C++, Scala, SAS, or SPSS is a plus
- Strong knowledge in AI disciplines, including deep learning, NLP, time series forecasting, optimization, and causal inference
- Experience in automation, control systems, and related training is highly valued
- Understanding of NoSQL and distributed computing technologies is an advantage
