Azizi Developments is looking for a dynamic Design Manager to join its fast-growing Design 360 Studio, managing the delivery of high-end residential and luxury mixed-use developments across the city. What Does a Design Manager – Architecture Projects Do?
- Lead internal and external design delivery teams for luxury residential and mixed-use projects
- Oversee full project lifecycle including planning, coordination, QA/QC review, and authority approvals
- Manage project milestones and ensure deliverables meet Azizi’s high design standards
- Collaborate with consultants, engineers, and internal stakeholders across departments
- Prepare design briefs, RFPs, risk assessments, and status reports for senior leadership
- Drive BIM-integrated workflows and ensure compliance with local authority regulations
- Maintain strong communication across teams to meet scheduled project timelines
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Supervise design documentation, Revit-based coordination, and consultant output review
- Present progress updates and design reviews to the HOD and executive leadership
- Ensure high-quality design production aligned with Azizi’s vision and Dubai authority codes
- Lead multidisciplinary coordination with MEP, structural, interior, and landscape teams
- Manage internal reviews, provide technical feedback, and guide design optimization
- Prepare marketing support kits and assist with project visualization deliverables
What Skills Are Needed for a Design Manager in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum 12-15 years in architectural design and project management
- Previous experience with luxury real estate, hospitality, or high-rise developments in the UAE
- Familiarity with Dubai authority submissions and regulatory compliance
- Proven background working with top-tier PMCs and multidisciplinary teams
Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Revit BIM workflows (mandatory)
- Strong design detailing, technical coordination, and leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Organizational ability to handle multiple concurrent projects
