Al Futtaim Group is hiring a Tax Manager to join its Group Tax division. The successful candidate will be responsible for tax accounting in line with IFRS, Pillar 2 compliance, and advisory on corporate tax positions for the group across all operating regions.

Role Overview

The Tax Manager will oversee the preparation and advisory of tax accounting positions, support automation initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The role involves working closely with internal teams and external advisors to optimize tax processes and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the tax accounting assessment for Pillar 2 and Domestic Minimum Top-up Tax (DMTT)
* Ensure compliance with IFRS standards including IAS 12
* Manage corporate tax compliance across all applicable geographies
* Prepare tax position memos for complex transactions, M&A, and restructurings
* Monitor global tax and accounting developments for their impact on reporting
* Support implementation of tax automation systems in coordination with the digital transformation team
* Review tax disclosures for standalone and consolidated financial statements
* Provide technical support for ongoing tax accounting projects

Requirements

Education and Experience:

* Degree in Accounting with ACCA or CPA certification
* 8 to 10 years of experience in tax accounting, including at least 5 years in compliance or advisory roles
* Experience with IFRS and international tax structures
* Big 4 accounting firm experience is preferred
* Industry experience is a plus

* In-depth knowledge of tax laws and IFRS
* Excellent project management and presentation skills
* Strong analytical and communication skills
* Ability to work across multiple jurisdictions and manage complex tax issues
