What Does a Senior Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking Do?
First Abu Dhabi Bank is seeking an experienced Senior Relationship Manager to manage and grow large corporate account portfolios in Dubai. This full-time role in the Corporate Banking Group (CBG) focuses on developing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, ensuring risk compliance, and achieving revenue targets while maintaining portfolio quality and customer satisfaction.

What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Originate and manage a portfolio of high-value corporate clients, including financial and credit analysis
- Pitch and close deals across banking products and services in collaboration with internal product teams
- Lead credit proposals, term sheets, and transaction structures, ensuring sound risk assessment
- Develop and maintain comprehensive account plans for key clients
- Ensure timely credit reviews and compliance with all regulatory and audit standards
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to deepen client relationships and drive revenue
- Supervise junior staff and support daily operational needs, including documentation and client interaction
- Ensure KYC, AML, and internal process compliance
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports and regular performance updates
What Skills Are Needed for a Corporate Relationship Manager in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field
- Master’s degree in Business Administration is preferred
Experience:
- 8 to 10 years of corporate banking experience, particularly in coverage roles
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of banking products, credit analysis, and market dynamics
- Ability to build long-term strategic client relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Data analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment expertise
