What Does a Process and Policy Manager Do?
- Document end-to-end processes across all Elite & Global Private Banking products and services
- Support policy compliance, risk mitigation, and process optimization through structured documentation and analysis
- Conduct workshops and liaise with business heads to map, enhance, and redesign customer-centric workflows
- Align process improvements with Key Operational Risk Controls (KORCs) and regulatory requirements
- Lead initiatives to standardize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across units and ensure proper stakeholder sign-off
- Monitor service levels and identify process gaps using sample checks, data analysis, and system reports
- Partner with stakeholders to develop functional and business requirements for enhanced operational frameworks
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Develop comprehensive documentation for processes, policies, and procedures in compliance with Central Bank and internal governance
- Drive continuous process reviews and improvements in collaboration with Group Operational Risk Management (GORM)
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for internal teams across Elite & Global Private Banking
- Support business units by translating operational needs into actionable documentation, charts, and process models
- Prepare and maintain SOPs with cross-segment applicability to ensure uniform execution of procedures
- Provide updates and meeting documentation for leadership on process status and progress metrics
What Skills Are Needed for a Process and Policy Manager in Abu Dhabi?
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in process management, operations, or risk in banking or financial services
Skills and Proficiencies:
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
- Strong understanding of process documentation frameworks and methodologies
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards and operational risk controls in banking
