Project Manager – Lead High-Impact Projects in Oman

Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects to deliver agreed outcomes within defined time, cost, and quality requirements
- Guide and coordinate with all relevant stakeholders to meet project objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Manage project technical services and external resources, ensuring risk mitigation and proper change management
- Deliver and update project plans, ensuring timely completion and alignment with goals
- Provide day-to-day management and leadership of the project team
- Ensure robust quality control systems are in place and monitored in line with Mace Way standards
- Manage procurement processes, including engaging consultants and contractors
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all project parties and stakeholders
- Conduct regular site inspections and participate in project meetings
- Actively manage risks, implementing mitigation strategies where necessary
- Ensure timely and formal processing of project changes
- Coordinate project handover documentation prior to completion
- Promote sustainable practices, working towards net zero carbon transition
- Oversee contractor performance, ensuring project scope, fees, and deliverables are met
Required Qualifications
- Relevant degree qualification
- Experience working in Oman (essential for client approval)
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to challenge contractors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with diverse teams
- Strong decision-making and project planning capabilities
Preferred Skills
- Membership or working towards RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE, or equivalent professional qualification
- Experience in retail sector project management (desirable)
- Familiarity with residential sector project delivery
- Financial and commercial acumen
- Understanding of carbon reduction and sustainability in project delivery
