What Does a Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition Do?
As the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will partner with senior stakeholders to identify leadership talent needs, develop proactive recruitment strategies, and ensure a seamless candidate experience. You will drive operational excellence across all hiring activities while continuously refining talent acquisition processes and aligning them with GEMS Education’s growth strategy.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Act as a strategic advisor and partner to hiring managers across schools and corporate offices
- Lead senior-level hiring by managing job requisitions and sourcing top-tier talent across education and corporate sectors
- Build talent pipelines and succession plans for critical leadership roles globally
- Design and implement recruitment strategies to attract, assess, and retain high-quality candidates
- Oversee the candidate journey, ensuring timely feedback and a consistent employer brand experience
- Drive data-led decision making through regular tracking and analysis of recruitment KPIs (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire)
- Maintain compliance and consistency in the hiring process through structured interviewing and behavioral assessment practices
- Deliver strategic recruitment reports to leadership with insights on trends, pipeline health, and areas for process improvement
- Collaborate with HR and Finance to manage recruitment budgets and optimize cost efficiency
- Continuously evaluate market trends and talent movements across the education sector
What Skills Are Needed for a Senior Talent Acquisition Role in Dubai?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Relevant HR or recruitment certifications are an advantage
Experience:
- 7+ years of progressive recruitment experience, preferably with leadership hiring across the education or corporate sectors
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and executive-level recruitment
Skills:
- Strong understanding of global talent markets and education sector trends
- Expertise in sourcing strategies, behavioral interviewing, and candidate assessment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging senior stakeholders
