Control Center Operations Officer
Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is looking for a talented Control Center Operations Officer to join the Unified Control Centre team. This role will focus on overseeing the operations of Dubai’s advanced transportation control centers, ensuring operational excellence, strategic governance, and effective coordination across all modes of mobility.
Job Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Function: Transportation and Control Center Operations
Salary: Estimated AED 27,000 to AED 33,000 per month
Gender: Any
Candidate Nationality: Any (Priority for UAE Nationals)
Candidate Current Location: Any
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, govern, and coordinate multiple transportation operations across Dubai using systems and technologies at the Unified Control Center
- Notify relevant centers and entities for incident management and ensure rapid response and resolution
- Supervise and track Unified Control Center performance, issuing regular reports on operational activities
- Oversee and develop the Center of Excellence and manage key partnerships and working agreements for the department
- Receive, transfer, and close emergency communications during crises, coordinating with internal and external agencies
- Develop and maintain operational plans for crisis and emergency handling, capturing lessons learned for continuous improvement
- Define and document incident response processes in line with RTA’s approved policies and procedures
- Propose improvements to policies, procedures, and operational methods to enhance efficiency and compliance
- Lead knowledge dissemination initiatives within the department through workshops, professional training, and onboarding programs
- Perform any additional tasks as directed by the direct manager
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field from an accredited university
Experience and Skills:
- Strong background in transportation system and technology management
- Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills
- Ability to produce executive-level reporting and analysis
- Proven experience with project portfolio management within operational control settings
- Solid understanding of intelligent transportation management systems and emergency response frameworks
- Strong communication skills, detail orientation, and ability to manage high-pressure situations
- Capability to handle multiple projects concurrently with precision and efficiency
