The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) – Dubai is looking for an experienced Manager to lead Quality, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (QHSS) initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive organizational excellence, embed a culture of quality, and strengthen risk resilience aligned with international best practices.

Job Overview
The Manager – QHSS will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining frameworks and strategies that enhance quality, health, safety, and sustainability standards across RTA’s operations. The position ensures compliance with ISO standards, DGEP requirements, and promotes a proactive excellence culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Quality, Health, Safety, and Sustainability frameworks and policies
- Manage disaster preparedness programs and ensure business continuity plans
- Drive the setting and monitoring of SMART business objectives and KPIs
- Conduct internal quality audits and excellence assessments across departments
- Support strategic planning through effective QA/QC documentation
- Lead organizational quality management reviews to ensure continuous improvement
- Deliver workshops and training on quality, safety, and excellence topics
- Promote cross-functional collaboration for quality and safety improvement initiatives
- Maintain and enhance knowledge-sharing platforms for best practices
- Integrate RTA’s safety initiatives with external emergency response agencies
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Master’s Degree preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quality management, excellence auditing, or related fields
Skills:
- Certified ISO Auditor; training in EFQM, DGEP, DQA, or SKGEP preferred
- Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Expertise in quality management systems and auditing techniques
- Proven ability to develop and implement organizational quality and safety strategies
- Strong analytical and continuous improvement mindset
