Job Overview
The Senior Project Manager – Infrastructure and Capital Programs will be responsible for supervising the lifecycle of projects, handling financial planning, ensuring proper selection of contractors and consultants, and reporting project progress efficiently. The role focuses on maintaining quality standards and supporting the achievement of RTA’s development objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the preparation of annual operational and capital budgets, revenue forecasts, and financial reports using Hyperion and RTA systems
- Lead the Project Management Office by monitoring team performance, improving workflows, and ensuring effective administrative support
- Oversee planning, implementation, and completion of approved projects and contracts within scheduled timeframes
- Manage the evaluation and selection process of contractors and consultants, ensuring compliance with RTA’s supplier assessment procedures
- Coordinate reporting on project progress across units and escalate any challenges to the CEO when necessary
- Ensure project performance tracking and quality assurance against RTA’s operational standards
- Provide periodic project status reports highlighting progress, risks, and suggested corrective actions
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 11 years of professional experience
- Or Master’s Degree in Project Management with at least 9 years of relevant experience
Experience:
- Strong background in infrastructure project leadership, planning, and financial management
Skills:
- Highly analytical thinking with strong attention to process improvement and optimization
- Advanced skills in project management tools and financial software systems
- Strong organizational, planning, and team leadership abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and related project management applications
