Job Overview
The Senior Specialist – Asset Management Planning will be responsible for ensuring compliance with asset management international standards, managing internal and external audits, developing strategic asset management policies, and enhancing value management and circular economy initiatives within RTA.
Key Responsibilities
- Review the ISO55001 external annual audit process and ensure compliance with asset management standards
- Conduct reviews to identify improvement areas and implement value management enhancement strategies
- Collaborate with audit teams and stakeholders to address non-conformities and develop action plans
- Coordinate internal asset management audits in line with internal auditing and quality standards
- Develop and update asset management policies, procedures, and awareness workshops
- Monitor and identify risks related to assets and ensure appropriate risk management and emergency plans
- Track new initiatives and projects related to asset maturity levels across RTA sectors
- Analyze asset management KPIs at the RTA level, recommend improvements, and prepare detailed reports
- Prepare and develop RTA’s overarching asset management strategy aligned with global best practices
- Coordinate and monitor value management initiatives, ensuring adherence to BS EN 12973 standards
- Develop and oversee the implementation of circular economy systems based on international benchmarks
- Perform additional responsibilities associated with asset management planning as required
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial) from a recognized university
- Master’s Degree preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in asset management planning or related fields
Skills:
- Strong ability to assess asset risks and review complex systems
- Advanced planning and execution skills
- High energy with a focus on community service and responding to customer needs
- Innovative mindset with creativity in problem-solving
- Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in execution
- Proficiency in coordinating internal audits and developing strategic reports
