What Does a Post-doctoral Associate in Bioengineering Do?
This position will lead the immunological research efforts in a collaborative, cross-institutional project aimed at understanding the biological activity and treatment potential of macrophage-derived EVs. The associate will work in a multidisciplinary team alongside researchers from NYUAD, Khalifa University, and Cornell University, combining immune cell profiling and bioelectronic technologies.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Conduct immune-based assessments of EVs at genetic, protein, and functional levels
- Contribute to experimental design, data analysis, and presentation of results
- Perform 3D cell culture and collaborate on integrating bioelectronics with cellular systems
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at scientific meetings
- Mentor students and support collaborative projects across partner institutions
- Ensure high standards in experimental reproducibility and lab operations
- Assist in grant reporting and research progress documentation
What Skills Are Required for a Bioengineering Postdoc in Abu Dhabi?
