What Does a Food and Beverage Server Do?
As a Food and Beverage Server, you are responsible for delivering professional and personalized dining service. Your attentiveness and product knowledge ensure that every guest enjoys a seamless and satisfying meal experience.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Provide courteous and efficient food and beverage service at all times
- Assist guests with menu selections and offer helpful recommendations
- Maintain full knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, garnishes, and preparation styles
- Stay updated on current promotions and beverage offerings
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with safety protocols in all service activities
- Handle guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and care
- Adhere to outlet policies, service standards, and sequence of service
- Cooperate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth coordination during service
- Take initiative to support team goals and enhance guest satisfaction
What Skills Are Needed for a Food and Beverage Server in Ajman?
Education:
- Diploma or certificate in hospitality or food service is beneficial
Experience:
- Previous F&B service experience is an advantage
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not mandatory
