Role Overview
The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for leading the design, delivery, and evaluation of technical and non-technical training programs across Al Futtaim’s diverse business units. The role will involve stakeholder management, digital learning development, performance analysis, and talent engagement aligned with the group’s HR strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement technical and non-technical learning programs across business divisions
* Design curriculum, facilitate training sessions, and manage end-to-end learning delivery
* Align learning initiatives with strategic business goals and performance KPIs
* Lead training need analysis in collaboration with HR business partners and department heads
* Manage learning management systems (LMS) and drive digital learning strategies
* Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to promote L&D solutions and successes
* Monitor and report on training effectiveness and learning performance metrics
* Support and deliver special HR or L&D projects within the organization
* Curate and produce digital learning content using modern tools and software
* Oversee employee recognition initiatives and engagement programs
Requirements
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field
* Professional certification in instructional design or L&D is a plus
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a learning and development role
* Experience working in a corporate or multinational environment preferred
Skills:
* Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written)
* Strong knowledge of competency frameworks and assessment methods
* Proficiency in digital learning tools, LMS platforms, and e-learning production
* Project management skills and experience leading cross-functional initiatives
* Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities
* Strong planning, organization, and analytical skills
