What Does a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Consultant Do?
As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Consultant at Deloitte Australia, you will design, configure, and implement next-generation ERP solutions that modernize business operations for clients across multiple industries. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, rethink business processes, and deploy innovative finance and supply chain solutions that drive digital transformation.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Lead or contribute to end-to-end delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance or Supply Chain implementations
- Conduct requirement workshops and design future-state processes with client stakeholders
- Configure cloud ERP platforms, perform data migrations, and build custom reports
- Apply business-led solution design thinking to align technology with strategic goals
- Facilitate UAT, training, deployment, and post-go-live support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile tools and delivery methods
- Stay current with Microsoft technologies and support client innovation
What Skills Are Required for a Dynamics 365 Consultant in Australia?
Education:
- Tertiary qualification in Business, IT, Supply Chain, or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Background in configuration, process mapping, report development, and ERP deployment
- Previous experience at a Big 4 or equivalent consulting firm is highly valued
Skills:
- Strong business acumen with foundational knowledge of finance or supply chain operations
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and stakeholder influence
- Ability to adapt quickly, think critically, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
